History

The Boulogne-Billancourt Board Game Designer’s International Contest is a well established contest whose first edition was in 1977. The Contest is only opened to prototype, no published game (even self-published) is allowed to participate. The aim of the Contest is to reward the designers of 4 games which bring, in addition to the "pleasure of playing", an original mechanism or an effective mix of well-tested mechanisms. The originality of games is the main criterion of selection.

Year after year, the winners of the Contest have found their way to the edition. More than 85 winners have been published and some are very famous. The common point of all these games is their participation and victory to the Contest. The most famous winners are : Abalone, Quarto, Condottiere, Méditerranée/ Serenessima, Mare Nostrum, Smallworld, Himalaya, Yspahan, River Dragons, Tokaido, Bruxelles, Quadropolis, Not Alone... "

Pues eso, entre vosotros debe haber algunas personas interesadas.

Bon any,
