Beginning this Spring and stretching into early Summer, Compass has 3 new releases on their way. In no particular order we have Proud Monster Deluxe, The God Kings and No Peace Without Spain. Proud Monster Deluxe (PMD): A monster game reborn! PMD is a simulation of the Russo-German War beginning with the launch of Operation Barbarossa in June of 1941, and ending in April of 1944. It is a two-player (or multi-player) strategic / operational wargame of low complexity. The game was originally released as two mini-monster games by Command Magazine. The two have now been redesigned and developed into one easy-to-play game. The God Kings (GK): A multi-player, card-driven game of antiquity. Four ancient civilizations wage epic wars spanning centuries to determine which shall spawn the next God King. Iconic kings of history lead their legions in chariot charges and call for divine intervention for their civilization's ascension. Minor nations make brief appearances to thwart plans that were generations in the making. A great addition to the card-driven, multi-player game genre. No Peace Without Spain (NPWS): The age of Marlborough and Vauban is upon us. It is a time of epic sieges, bloody battles, and political turmoil that will embroil Western Europe for over a decade. Ultimately, it will decide the fate of the Spanish throne. Will the Habsburgs regain the crown, or will Louis XIV's grandson rule in Madrid? NPWS is a two-player, strategic level, card-driven game that plays out the battles and political intrigue of the time.
