*RECIPIENTS OF THE 2010 INTERNATIONAL GAMERS AWARDS ANNOUNCED!*

The International Gamers Awards committee is extremely proud to announce the recipients for the 2010 IGA in the General Strategy category:

In the Multi-Player category, the award goes to *Age of Industry, *the creation of British designer *Martin Wallace* and published by *Treefrog Games* and *Mayfair Games*.  In this streamlined version of *Wallace‚s *popular title *Brass*, players are tycoons in the early days of the Industrial Revolution, a time when traditional craftsman were rapidly replaced with steam-powered machines. Players invest in the production of raw materials,
the manufacturing of goods, and the transportation networks needed to connect them.  This is the second IGA for *Wallace* and the first for *Treefrog* and *Mayfair*.

In the 2-Player category, the award goes to *Campaign Manager 2008, *designed by the team of *Christian Leonhard* and *Jason Matthews *and published by *Z-Man Games*. *  *Players assume the roles of the political campaign mangers in the 2008 presidential election.  The players struggle to influence voters in the critical swing states from this election, while targeting key constituencies and trying to define the key issues in the states. Will
McCain dominate the national security debate, or can Obama play on people's fears over the economy? As the campaign manager of a national presidential campaign, you will either identify the road to the White House, or the road to irrelevance.  *Leonhard* and *Matthews* earned the IGA in 2008 for *1960: The Making of the President*, while *Matthews* also captured the award in 2006 with *Twilight Struggle*.  This is the third IGA for *Z-Man Games*.

The International Gamers Awards were founded in 1999 for the express purpose of recognizing outstanding games, their designers, and the companies which publish them.  The awards have gained widespread acclaim and have helped bring these outstanding games to the public‚s attention.

The individuals who serve on our General Strategy and Historical Simulation committees are extremely qualified, knowledgeable and respected within the gaming hobby.  Each and everyone have extensive experience in the playing, reviewing and critiquing of games.

Pues felicidades a los ganadores. Aunque sean todos repetidores. Así que felicidades mayores a Treefrog y Mayfair, que es su primer IGA.
