Project Update #6: Stretched! - New Map, Translation Update, and Stats

So, we have hit the $35,000 funding level and blown through that stretch goal as of a couple of days ago.  Thank you for forgiving me for not updating as it happened both over the weekend and while I was sick.


Now, we have $3,652 to go until we unlock the map Frozen Assets.  As of right now, I do not have a sketch of the , but I am confident that Adam will make it look amazing.  For those that have been wondering:

The regular card stock maps will be 2-sided to accommodate more art and maps on less materials.
The thicker more durable credit card material that is meant to put in your wallet will only be a one-sided map, and there will only be one of these due to the significant extra cost of manufacturing.
I should have a sketch of Frozen Assets for when we pass that stretch goal.

Translations

We have now had successful translations into numerous languages, including German, Dutch, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Hungarian, and Hebrew.  Plus some others that I might be forgetting (like Russian...?).  Anyways, anybody able and willing to translate into additional languages is welcome.  We would be especially excited for translations into:

Japanese
Korean
Chinese
Stats, Stats, Stats

We have had 5,972 backers, pledging $41,348 for a maximum of 10,828 copies of Coin Age.  That works out to be $3.82 average pledge per copy.  This came down a little due to the $2 copies for Operation Gratitude, so I am still VERY pleased with the extra funds that people are pledging.

The largest referrers are:

Dungeon Roll - Winter Promo update - 820 backers pledging $5,340.88
(Kickstarter) Tabletop Games Discover (hooray for popularity traffic boost!) - 784 backers pledging $5,371.60
BoardGameGeek.com - Those banner ads are really helping - 539 backers pledging $3,618.99
TMG Email - 516 backers pledging $3,596.75
(Kickstarter) Search - General branding and exposure boost - 487 backers pledging $3,541.10
Reddit.com - HUGE beginning boost - 366 Backers pledging $2,236.44
Direct Traffic (no referrer) - email shares? - 334 backers pledging $2,445.74
Embedded KS Widget - 233 backers pledging $1,612.17
Facebook and Twitter and Google are coming in strong with over 100 backers referred each. Overall this campaign is seeing a lot of REALLY strong referrers come in.  TMG direct sources only account for a little over 21% of the funds pledged (22% of backers).  Often our results are much more TMG driven.

We also do not usually buy a super high saturation of ads on BGG for our campaigns, which might be driving a large amount of this extra backing.

Onward to $45,000!

Lets push onward to $45,000 of funding to unlock that additional map!  So, remember to share with your friends, and use that Facebook share button on the project home page.
