CitarUnfortunately, with us being a new company a retail release is far from guaranteed. We are signing up direct-to-retail partners, but most of those are in Asia. We're also working with Quined Games in the UK and EU to plan a retail release there, but that deal isn't finalized.
We do not have *any* distribution partners or contracts with distribution companies.
We hope a successful Kickstarter campaign, paired with a lot of hard work and demoing at conventions will help us build these relationships, but by the nature of being a new company its really, really difficult. There is just an absolutely glut of new games and new publishers every year. So, distributors have a tough job of separating the signal from the noise, and "new publisher / new designer" is about as high on their "risk chart" as you can get. We have a lot of proving ourselves to do.
I think it will be awhile before we are in retail. :/
Probablemente sean lágrimas de cocodrilo ya que el tío tiene que defender su campaña de KS. Pero no hace sino reforzar mi idea de entrar.
Además, acabo de ver que hay stretch goals chulísimos. Si los SG de mejora de materiales os la pelan (bajona tremenda marcar las empresas con chips de cartón en vez de discos de madera), al menos hay que reconocer que las empresas nuevas que están poniendo tienen una pinta bestial para darle rejugabilidad. Cada una tiene su propia movida especial. Unas sólo pueden abrir una única fábrica, otras no pueden automatizarse, otras no pueden tener managers pero en su lugar pueden usar materias primas para producir más y subirse popularidad... Muy divertidas y variadas. Leo en el KS que algunas de estas cosas costarán â,¬â,¬â,¬ extra por separado si el juego llegara a retail.
