Me respondo a mi mismo y os copio la carta que me han enviado desde los fabricantes, para vuestra información:
Thank you for your message. I think playing crokinole is as hardcore
or as soft as you want to make it, whether you play on a mini board
(20 inch), a traditional board (22 inch) or a contemporary competition
board (26 inch).
The mini board uses smaller and lighter discs, which tend to travel a
bit faster than regular discs. When I switch from a mini board to a
competition board (which I do very often at game demos), the bigger
board feels sluggish for a few moments. Please note that I prefer
slower, positional gameplay and thus very rarely go for hard-hitting
shots.
I recommend mini boards to casual players and to people who play a lot
with children. The smaller, lighter (3 kg) board is easier to
transport and stow away. It also fits on the vast majority of table,
at least here in Poland.
It is also a nice second or third board for advanced players, who
would rather not take out a top-of-the line Canadian board to a public
place.
As for Ferti boards, they are much slower than reference Canadian
boards or the Cogitate boards I distribute, so it's difficult to make
any meaningful comparisons. Owners of Ferti boards I met in Essen were
surprised by the speed of the Cogitate boards, but I don't have any
more info.
