MAIN FEATURES OF MEDIOEVO UNIVERSALIS:
- Number of players: 3-5 with BASE box, 6-10 with EXPANSION box. Added the "dead", which has rules to reinforce himself, attack and rebel territories of players poor defended.

PRINCIPALES CARACTERÍSTICAS DE MEDIOEVO UNIVERSALIS:
- Número de jugadores: 3-5 con caja de base, 6-10 con la caja de expansión. Se ha añadido el "muerto", que tiene reglas para reforzar a sí mismo, de ataque y rebeldes territorios de jugadores pobres defendidos.
- Terreno: diversos tipos de terreno combinados con fortificaciones y tecnologías ciudad dan modificadores de movimientos y la superpoblación.
- Aleatoria se activa: vueltas de los jugadores son aleatorios, pero pueden ser influenciados en parte de la subasta inicial.
- Subastas: además de la capacidad para comprar con derecho a jugar primero, o poner a la venta, en la fase comercial, parte de sus posesiones.
- Las tasas y Refuerzos: colección de recursos de sus territorios sujetos a varios modificadores.
- Comercio: los jugadores tienen a su disposición el mar y transporte de tierras a los intercambios 8 tipos de mercancías en 36 ciudades en el mapa para ganar florines.
- El avance tecnológico: 38 tecnologías desplegadas en 6 familias con un máximo de 4 niveles a mejorar su Reino en la economía, el comercio, la militar y la diplomacia. Estas tecnologías implementan las características de otros naipes o permiten protegerse de las calamidades.
- Los eventos muy raros: calamidades pueden alterar y modificar un montón todas las estrategias ... Si se prepara el jugador, que serán capaces de sobrevivir casi intacto, de lo contrario ...
- Eventos al azar: una serie de eventos aleatorios positivos y negativos, pero menos catastrófica, saldrán a las diversas áreas de la tierra o por mar en el que el mapa se divide: tormentas, misiones requeridas por el Papa, torneos entre jugadores, los comerciantes que ofrecen el comercio ... etcétera
- Desarrollo: el jugador tiene la oportunidad de ampliar sus ciudades, aumentar las defensas y fortificaciones, ejércitos, transporte militar y comercial ... y más.
- Jugar a las cartas: permiten mejorar los ejércitos y las defensas, la construcción de fortificaciones, los impuestos, la diplomacia, la compra de nuevos ejércitos de mercenarios ... etc.
- Combate: la combinación de tecnologías con el juego de cartas le permite obtener un conjunto de modificadores de bonificación en las batallas ... y como tal un buen Cruzada? No se olvide de corsarios, piratas e invasiones mongoles.
- Diplomacia: hay seis opciones diplomáticas con otros jugadores, que tienen en cuenta la Casus Belli y permiten traiciones; también con la expansión entra en juego el Papa que tendrá que hacer frente a las cruzadas y los otros reinos cristianos a la espera de tomar su lugar ... y si los mamelucos conquistaron Roma?
- Expansión: Se invita al jugador a expandir su Reino para crear un imperio.
- Objetivo del juego: ganar el mayor número de puntos de honor, a medida que juega, dependiendo de las acciones tomadas, puede ganar o perder puntos de honor, que puede obtenerse a través de muchos aspectos del juego: el comercio, la diplomacia, el combate y la conquista, tarjetas de eventos aleatorios.
