Parece que los de wizards apuestan de nuevo fuerte por los juegos de mesa... si hace poco que estamos disfrutando del Ravenloft y dentro de dos meses tendremos su hermano gemelo... hace poco han hablado de "Conquest of Nerath".
Al parecer se trata de un juego de batallas, con héroes, castillos etc etc... diría que al estilo de ¿runewars? Por lo visto se ambiente en los mundos de Greyhawk.
Habrá que estar atentos...  Se espera para el segundo trimestre del 2011 (no incluidos retrasos orientales).

One of my upcoming publications (second quarter 2011, anyway) that I’m especially proud of is our Conquest of Nerath board game. This is one of the “very cool things” I promised to talk about months ago, and we finally announced it at GenCon. I did my initial design work on this game years ago, and now it’s really on the schedule. As Lovecraft says, “That is not dead which can eternal lie.” Anyway, Conquest of Nerath is a big fantasy wargame along the lines of Greyhawk Wars, Axis & Allies, or Risk Godstorm. You’ll have hundreds of playing pieces representing legions of footsoldiers, siege engines, war galleys, dragons, castles, and of course heroes like knights and wizards who can plunder dungeons or lead troops. If you’re a fan of conquer-the-world type games or you get a little tear in your eye when you watch the Battle of Pelennor Fields in Return of the King, then this is for you. I’ll talk more about it when the game’s a little closer to release!

Pues sí que parece un runewars con la única diferencia de "war galleys", algo que espero se añada en próximas expansiones. Estaremos atentos a ver qué tal, pero está claro que Wizards se ha puesto muy en serio con los juegos de mesa... como decían por ahí, no vivimos la edad de oro de los juegos de mesa, sino la de diamante

Lo único que hay es hype. Saben la fibra que hay que tocar para que nos hierva la sangre y lo consiguen

La portada provisional, esta en el hilo del Ashardalon... vamos, nada.

Habrá que esperar a que vaya saliendo más info, porque con lo que hay por ahora ni idea de como puede estar la cosa... 

Cierto, lo que se sabe hasta ahora es prácticamente nada. un mero hype de tanteo por parte de los fabricantes y sus voceros.

Supongo que las miniaturas harán honor a su nombre y serán pequeñas al estilo Risk, si no a ver en que cofre meten todo eso.

A mi lo que me parece es que wizards tiene un modo copy/paste que esta funcionando bien, creo. Primero saca el Castle que lucha por el mismo público que el descent  y ahora cómo decís este que es muy parecido al Runewars.
Mientras los juegos tengan calidad me parece cojonudo, sólo espero que no se parezcan mucho pues ya tengo el runewars y este me llama mucho

Yo creo que el juego será un "Axis & Allies" medieval fantástico.
